Andorra is one of the more recent success stories of world skiing. With millions invested in new hotels, gondolas, high speed lifts, grooming machines and facilities; Andorra is fast becoming a world-class ski destination. Most of the five major ski areas have expanded rapidly over the past thirty years; helped by the combined reputation for good snow, warm sunshine and the country’s duty-free status.

The principality of Andorra is set high in the Pyrenees between France and Spain. Andorra has so much to offer -- an excellent snow record, long sunny days, great après ski -- all for a fantastic value. This resort destination has something for every grade of skier or snowboarder and is particularly suitable for beginners and intermediates.

Though only the size of a medium U.S. city, Andorra has a large nation’s worth of culture with museums, art, restaurants, and great shopping. Even the weather has its marks of distinction – though its mountain climate ensures superb winter snowfall, Andorra is only a few hours away from the sunny, glistening French Riviera. The country boasts five ski resorts with a total of over 7100 acres of slopes (all within 20 miles of each other). Finally, although Andorra's wealth and richness might make shopping seem expensive, their virtually tax-free system provides unbelievable bargains.

At World On Skis we provide you with not only the most popular ski opportunities, but also with the most up and coming alpine destinations to choose among. Year after year, time and time again, you can experience a terrific new snowy locale or time-tested favorite slope across the globe with World On Skis. How about making new ski memories in Andorra this year?
